Our windows are designed to meet insurance guidelines and provide robust security. Our frames are internally beaded, which means that they can’t be easily removed from the outside – a deterrent in itself.
Added security features, as standard, include:
- Key operated, multipoint shoot bolt locking mechanisms
- Window handles fixed to steel locking mechanism
- Heavy duty steel hinge protectors to create a further barrier to entry
Safety as standard
Our Traditional range of windows are fitted with BSI approved hinges, endurance tested to 30,000 cycles. The smooth operation ensures easy and safe window opening. We also provide fire hinges, opening automatically to a 90-degree angle for easy escape in the case of a fire.
Our child-proof option automatically restricts opening to 10mm for easy and safe ventilation, with full opening possible with a child resistant, automatically resetting button.
Energy saving design
You could lose up to 20% of your home’s heat through single glazed windows*, so uPVC double glazing is an excellent way to improve the energy efficiency rating of your home. Our Traditional frames have a 6-chambered core that traps air and provides excellent insulation.
We have a wide variety of glass coatings in both double and triple glazing options to provide the best energy ratings to suit your needs. Our Traditional range boasts efficiency ratings of up to A+ helping to regulate the temperature of your home and cut down on your heating bills.
